Crystal Atlas is a web-based intelligence platform built for Uddipak Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., a specialized pharmaceutical IP consultancy based in Ahmedabad. The platform gives pharma R&D, regulatory, and IP teams ready access to reported polymorphic forms of globally approved small-molecule drugs, along with IP landscape reports covering the USA, EU, and India.
We designed and developed the complete solution using Laravel with a custom UI/UX — from the marketing website and secure user registration/login to the members-only data platform. The interface is clean, professional, and fully responsive, built to present complex scientific and patent information in a way that is easy to browse and understand.
The platform currently covers 210+ approved pharmaceutical products and keeps growing, with a structured admin backend that lets the client team add new products and polymorph data every year without developer help.
Polymorphism — the ability of a compound to exist in multiple solid forms — directly affects a drug’s solubility, stability, bioavailability, manufacturing, regulatory approval, and patent strategy. Both innovator (brand) companies and generic developers need reliable polymorph data to make decisions.
Uddipak Consultancy had deep expertise and research in this area but needed a digital product to deliver it. They wanted a single platform where clients could register, request access, and explore polymorph intelligence instead of relying on manual reports and email exchanges.
The biggest challenge was presenting highly technical scientific and IP data to a professional audience in a clear, trustworthy, and easy-to-navigate format. The design had to speak to two different audiences — innovator companies and generic developers — each with different priorities.
The platform also needed controlled access: visitors should understand the value of the product, while the actual polymorph data stays protected behind registration and login. Lead capture had to be detailed enough (industry type, department, attachments) for the client’s business development team to qualify enquiries.
We built a Laravel-based platform with secure authentication, role-based access, and a protected data section for registered users. A custom admin panel lets the client manage products, polymorph records, coverage statistics, and user access requests from one place.
On the UI/UX side, we created a modern, content-focused design with dedicated sections for innovators and generic developers, a coverage snapshot showing year-wise product counts, and a detailed contact/trial request form with industry and department filters and file uploads. The result is a professional, responsive platform that builds credibility and turns visitors into qualified leads.
