Dimore Insight is a comprehensive management and reporting system developed for a leading surfaces and tiles manufacturer. It consists of a robust Laravel admin panel for backend operations and a seamless cross-platform Flutter mobile app for the sales team on the field.
Beyond basic data management, the ecosystem serves as a highly intelligent incentive calculation engine. It effortlessly tracks sales performances across a complex organizational hierarchy--including Zones, Regions, and multi-tier sales representatives (L1 to L5)--ensuring fair and automated rewards.
The Flutter mobile app empowers the sales representatives with on-the-go access to their real-time targets, dealer payment statuses, and document management, while the web portal provides administrators with full control over data processing and reporting.
Prior to this system, the client relied heavily on scattered, manual Excel sheets to manage their extensive sales network. Tracking dealer outstanding balances, credit notes, and monthly sales data across various states was becoming increasingly difficult as the business scaled.
Furthermore, calculating the monthly incentives for the sales and business development teams was a highly manual, time-consuming process. Field representatives had no real-time visibility into their targets, and the admin team required hours of cross-referencing multiple spreadsheets to apply complex hierarchical rules.
One of the core technical challenges was building a robust data-import engine on the backend capable of processing massive, unstructured Excel files seamlessly. Preventing data duplication during uploads while ensuring existing records were accurately updated required meticulous logic.
Another major challenge was developing the automated incentive calculator and delivering its output instantly to the mobile app. The system had to evaluate individual target slabs, calculate team-based overrides, and process heavy calculations in the background without slowing down the APIs serving the mobile users.
We developed a highly scalable backend architecture using the Laravel framework. We implemented asynchronous job processing for heavy Excel imports on the web admin panel. Alongside this, we built a sleek, user-friendly mobile application using Flutter, connected securely via REST APIs.
To solve the incentive calculation hurdle, we engineered a dynamic rule-engine with automated cron jobs on the server. The Flutter app now allows the sales team to view their precise, real-time incentive reports on the go, completely eliminating human error and transforming how the organization tracks performance.
